About From Fé
Hi, I'm Femke.
From Fé began with a love for Portuguese azulejos and the beauty of small details. What started as an experiment with porcelain slowly grew into a collection of tiny hand-painted tiles that can be worn and carried every day.
Each tile is shaped, painted and glazed by hand in Lisbon. Inspired by traditional patterns, the Portuguese coast and everyday moments, every piece is slightly different and one of a kind.
My hope is that these tiny tiles carry a little piece of Portugal with them wherever they go.
How they're made
Shaped by hand
Each tile starts as a small piece of porcelain.
Painted
Traditional-inspired patterns are painted by hand with blue glaze.
Fired and assembled
After firing, each tile is assembled into necklaces and earrings.
